The Small Community Air Service Grant provides underserved airport’s monies to help establish air service in their area. Currently we have $250,000 from 2004 to market it an airline for YNG. Instead of wasting it on 1 airline, split it with 2 airlines such as Allegiant and Hooters and market it to establish it in the region.
What do you think the airport should request in the 2006 SCASD Grant? Certain Cities, Certain Airlines, etc.

Secondary airports need to provide free parking… I would utilize some of the monies to subsidize “FREE PARKING”. In addition to providing subsidies direct to one (or two) carrriers.
