So Are More Flights Coming????

Today it was announced that 2 of the 4 Roanoke-Orlando routes will be suspended until the Summer. Allegiant plans on resuming the routes, but those plans are not definite; meaning they will be hitting another route to try to make more money in this time…. So will it be Youngstown? I sure as hell hope so.
Roanoke began 3 days after Youngstown back in May 2006 and quickly received two more flights a week, although the Youngstown load factor was higher than Roanoke’s. Roanoke’s average loads are at about 81%, Youngstown at 87%….. Doesn’t that make you wonder why Youngstown doesn’t have more flights!?
This timing definately makes me wonder if Youngstown is getting more flights, especially with the recent media attention and emails to Allegiant which seem to be positive.
Still nothing on the website, but once again, it would be in the airport’s best interest to get it up within the next 5 days. I am going to attempt to find what day it will be released! Continue voting in the FlyYNG Poll!!!! Just click the name of the city to the right of this post and your vote will be cast!
THANKS!

heard this morning………….149 pax+1!!!!!!!!!GREAT!!!!!!!!!
Once again thanks SidelinesNoMore!!!! Great news once again!
More great news is already 1 flight is sold out in February, with 3 others very close to selling out. A lot of that can be due to the Daytona 500. Remember, SFB Airport is just 30 minutes to Daytona, and is a far better option, than compared to MCO.
Time for more flights ALLEGIANT!
Surely more service from Allegiant would be fantastic. However, I think that the focus should be on more Florida destinations- i.e. Ft.Myers and Tampa- this will target the retiree community that comes to the Valley in the summer as well as winter vacationers. I think that Las Vegas would be good also, but the economics of such a long flight with such a small payload can’t be as good as shuttling to and from Southern Florida. Look at the case of USA3000 who flies from PIT and (I think) CLE to Tampa and Ft. Myers at low rates. People love that service, just like they love Allegiant to YNG.
Your poll, I voted thanks! Have placed your link into BLOGS on my site, and am going to push toget it on front page of the paper. Let’s each write to the editors of the papers, and send an “non authorized” press release to each media center in the valley, and ask them to push your poll. We have much to gain!
According to someone who commented in this thread, it appears the website will indeed be put up this week, but then again, we shall see.
Website…what website…the airport a website. Are you kidding
Is this for real? Let’s hope
