Skybus Is Set to Fly!

Well to no avail Skybus announced their initial destinations today; and as you could have guessed, Youngstown-Warren was not on there. Alright, I don’t think anyone really expected us to be on there, considering they are brand new and all of their initial flights fly into Columbus before going elsewhere. Skybus looks to have a great new website which advertises $10 FARES!

I don’t care if they make you pay for everything on the flight and they make you throw away your food/drinks before entering the plane; for $10 fares, it’s worth it! Just imagine the high number of fliers out there who want to experience something new by flying for such a cheap price! Hell, I would; and I am sure you would too.

In the next 18 months Skybus will expand to a 65 plane A-319 Fleet; which will allow tons of new destinations to be added to the Skybus route map; and its NECESSARY for Youngstown to be one of them. As you can note on their website today, 4 , count em 4, Allegiant Air cities are of the initial 10 for Skybus; 2 of which are known for the larger city nearby. It’s evident they want to work like Allegiant hitting smaller markets, and you can bet that CAK and YNG will be in the running for this airline in the next 12-18 months. Who knows if the YNG Management is even aware of Skybus, but it’s up to us to inform them! So email Bowser up at the airport here: sbowser@yngairport.com

All I can ask you guys to do on this blog is to email Skybus here: bob.tenenbaum@skybus.com
and tell them that you want Skybus in Youngstown. The more emails they receive, the more they will take note that this community wants their carrier!

THANKS, And we can make this work. SCASD still not up yet, although the deadline is this Friday. And a new Fly Youngstown website is in creations. We promise to make it BETTER than the current official YNG-Airport site.

As much as I want daily flights, we won’t get them until we get more flights with LCC. Please continue emailing Steve Bowser!!!! The more he hears from us, the more he knows we want progress!!!!!

    WE CAN DO IT.

Give everyone who buys a seat a free copy of local author Sam Moffie’s novel SWAP. Perfect for airplane reading.
