YNG begins Advertising!

Well this evening I turned on WYTV to watch the 6:00 news and was very surprised to see an Allegiant Air ad for Youngstown to Orlando, immediately after an Akron-Canton Airport commercial. The commercial was definitely a national one for all Orlando flights, just with a few images of the YNG Logo on there.
Still no sign of the YNG SCASD grant for 2007. I was told they applied, so we shall see tomorrow.

I personally don’t really care because like I said before… I’d rather delay the site launch rather than half-ass it. It’s not like we have done any advertising outside of downtownyoungstown.com or Myspace yet so no one really even is aware of us yet… it’s no big deal if we delay.That’s why it’s still not up. Besides, we are targeting the college age crowd (18-25) and will be in full force for the fall, and will go live shortly so we can build up some damn content. A couple months is nothing.
