Interesting Flight from MSP then to MCI

Yesterday, an ExpressJet Airlines Embraer-145 landed at the airport from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. Just tonight it left to go to Kansas City, MO. I went and looked around on the internet, and none of these two cities is where ExpressJet is based at. I was hoping that perhaps ExpressJet came to the airport to talk one on one with Steve Bowser about future flights; and maybe that occured, but as of now it is unlikely.

Does anyone know what this flight was for tonight?

My data shows that it was a "Sports Charter".
Since I do not follow sports, I would not attempt to quess whic team it was.

CHL Youngstown Steelhounds played the Colorado Eagles; but they have been in town since Monday.

AF2 Mahoning Valley Thunder are playing the Manchester Eagles I believe, so it is not them either….

None of YSU’s softball/baseball opponents are from Minneapolis either… Interesting.

it may have been for some type of training at the school. (piaa). hopefully it is for a new airline. expressjet has very little presence in this area so it could be something for the futuere.

ExpressJet operates a charter division as well as flying for Continental, Delta, and its own branded flying ExpressJet. The city pairings you listed were most likely only a charter.ExpressJet has a large presence just up the road in CLE.
